Monitors Measuring 24/25 Inches:
Display size of 24 to 25 inches for competitive high-FPS gaming is ideal. We’re talking about games like Call of Duty, Valor, Overwatch, and the like, or any game in which a player’s every move matters.
Fast adversary detection will be critical in these games. A nanosecond may be all that stands between you and the winning image. If you have a larger screen, you’ll spend more time looking around the screen.
Full HD 1920x1080p (Full HD) is ideal for 24–25-inch displays. We think it’s best not to lower the resolution below 1080p. However, since it should use 1440p displays at a distance of 2-3 feet from the user, the text may be too tiny to read comfortably. Your vision is also a factor.
Refresh rates on these displays typically vary from 60 to 340 Hz. Another thing to remember is that practically all professional gamers in the business (with a few outliers) utilize this size for competitive play.
Sponsored tournament gear is given to high-profile players. However, there are numerous BYOC (Bring Your Computer) competitions for those just getting started in gaming. These size monitors are small and portable, making them ideal for travel.
Choose this monitor if you choose speed above resolution or screen real estate or if you’re looking to join the high-fps combat gaming realm.
Monitors with a 27-inch diagonal:
Generally, 27-inch displays should be considered the standard for all monitors. It may still play high FPS and casual games on a larger screen with a more excellent resolution than 24-inch displays. The 27-inch model is a jack of all trades regarding computer monitors.
These displays will seem much bigger when playing competitively at high frame rates. While it’s totally up to personal choice, sitting that close to monitors during competitions may be unpleasant.
Using this monitor, we may choose from 1080p to 4k resolutions. However, the ideal resolution is 2560 x 1440 pixels (Quad HD). The refresh rate ranges from 60 to 240 Hz in this size. The 27-inch 1080p monitors were not recommended.
Regarding competitive high-fps shooter games, we recommend a 27-inch display as the maximum size. A small number of esports players also use this size.
Monitors of 28–32 inches:
Now we’ve made it to the big time! To get the most out of 1440p or 4k, you’ll want a 28- to 32-inch display. As a result, we don’t suggest it for competitive high-fps shooter games.
High-resolution photos, on the other hand, result in more explicit images. We suggest a screen resolution of at least 27 inches for story-based single-player or adventure games. The visuals in such games are rather good, so use them.
Because of the excellent quality, you’ll need a strong graphics card to keep up with the fast refresh rates required to generate the pictures. Typical refresh rates for these displays are between 144 and 240 Hz. Keeping a gap between the display and yourself is also important since the monitors are much larger.

More than a 32-inch screen:

A 16:9 aspect ratio is the standard for most displays we find on the market today. On the other hand, Ultrawide displays often feature an aspect ratio of 21:9, 32:9, 32:10, or 48:9. The ratio of horizontal and vertical pixels is known as an aspect ratio.
These displays provide immersive gameplay. However, not all games are compatible with this aspect ratio. In games, the wider field of vision provided by ultrawide displays is a significant benefit.
High-resolution ultrawide displays range from 2K to 8K, making them ideal for many applications. They typically measure from 25 to 49 inches in length.
In our opinion, the larger the display, the more immersive the gaming experience in the ultrawide gaming arena. ‘ It’s best to play roleplaying, adventure, and racing games on a screen with at least 32 inches resolution. This kind of game includes Forza, Witcher, and even Red Dead Redemption 2.
There are, however, a few sweet spots in terms of resolution for ultra wides that it may find. The following is what we recommend:
- 2560 x 1080 resolution: 25 to 29 inches
- 34 inches for a 3440 x 1440 resolution
- 39.3-inch screen for 3840x1600px
- 43-inch for 3840 x 1080 and 3840 x 1200 resolution

We’ve found that professional competitive gaming on smaller displays works well for us. When playing Shooter Arena games, more extensive displays aren’t always out of the question. However, in a professional context, you will be at a disadvantage.
